This masterclass will weave itself around the foundational pillars of vinyasa yoga, flowing you through seamless creative sequencing, focused breath and powerful poses that will challenge, inspire and uplift. The movement is paired with a custom-tailored playlist to keep your ears occupied while your body flows through the poses being led with anatomical precision and choreographic grace. Adam integrates his 20 years of teaching yoga with his past career as a musician and performer to create an experience that can pull you out of your mind and into a focused and free state of play.

Movement and Myofascial Release

In contemporary anatomical research, fascia is the new frontier, abundant with discoveries that deepen our understanding of how these intelligent, adaptive bodies move, learn, heal, and communicate with themselves and the world around us. Fascia is your living body-wide web – an interconnected scaffolding that gives us shape, provides protection, facilitates repair and force transmission, and gives us body awareness. 

In this workshop, we will explore yoga and myofascial release techniques to directly communicate with these fascial networks, ensuring they remain well-hydrated, adaptive, and healthy as we age and evolve. You'll experience how myofascial release can increase mobility, ease tension, stimulate healing, and has the potential to ease chronic pain.

Through a fusion of guided myofascial release coupled with yoga asanas, you'll learn how to maintain supple fascia and optimise fascial reorganisation. Revive tissues, enhance nervous system communication, and rediscover your body's innate ease of movement. Unlock your body's integral webbing and innate capacity for self-healing. REST:
A Yoga Nidra Retreat

We have a tendency to pin our exhaustion onto our chests like a badge of honour, hovering just above complete burnout as our nervous systems spin out of control, begging for a reset. This is your chance. A time to settle into a deep understanding that rest is your birthright, not something that needs to be earned or be ashamed of. It is this knowing that allows us to soften back into our innate ability to heal and to connect to our intuition, our inherent creativity, and our endless imagination.

Yoga Nidra is the pathway home - a practice of returning and allowing ourselves to fall back into the open arms of deep rest. This day retreat introduces you to some of these restorative practices. We will spend time discussing the history, tradition, and techniques, and then gently transition through Slow Flow and Yin postures until we land softly into our Nidra nest. You will emerge feeling rested, rejuvenated, and more deeply connected to that clear inner voice that calls for you to slow down, be quiet, and listen.
